Accommodation is an important part of your tournament experience.
We invite all teams to get in touch with us at services@wjuc.sport with your needs as soon as possible. While we have secured enough rooms for everyone, allocation will be handled on a first come, first served basis, and late requests may face more limited options. All official accommodation booked through the LOC includes transport to and from the playing fields, as well as to parties and social events when scheduled.
AirCon: Based on last year’s experience, we strongly recommend booking an option with air conditioning. While nights in Logroño are usually mild, if a heat wave hits during the tournament dates, having air conditioning in your accommodation can make a big difference to ensure you a more comfortable stay.
Beds: Almost all the reserved accommodation options offer individual beds in twin or multi-person rooms. A limited number of double beds may be present in some facilities; prices are always calculated based on full occupancy. We will inform you during the reservation process if that applies to your chosen accommodation.
Type 1 Accommodation – Bunkbeds, Albergues, Bungalows, Campsite
The main budget accommodation hub will be Camping La Playa, reserved entirely for WJUC players and staff. It offers a variety of options (shared bunk rooms, bungalows, camping). Located near the Las Norias swimming pools, it is connected to the playing fields by public bus line #9, which takes about 30 minutes. To meet the high demand, the LOC has also secured additional similar options around Logroño.
- Shared rooms with bunk beds (8–20 guests per room, at Camping La Playa or downtown): €25–38 per person/night
- Bungalows (4–8 people, with small kitchen, fridge, microwave, at Camping La Playa): €30–38 per person/night
- Albergues (simple, clean, affordable shared bunk accommodations, good for whole teams): €35–45 per person/night
- Camping (tent or RV, full facility access at Camping La Playa): on request
Type 2 Accommodation – Budget Hotels & Apartments
- Budget Hotels: Good quality low-cost hotels and apartments fully dedicated to players. Rooms for 2–4 people. Some include breakfast (check your booking details). Located downtown, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. €40–48 per person/night
- Apartments: Various complexes around the city hosting teams or federations, equipped with kitchens and suitable for 4–12 players per apartment. Ideal for self-catering. €30–50 per person/night
Type 3 Accommodation – 3–4* Hotels
High-quality hotels with a limited number of rooms reserved for WJUC. Teams will receive a booking code from the LOC to secure rooms directly at the agreed price. €50–70 per person/night. Payment will be handled directly with the hotel.
Teams booking independently
Logroño is a compact city, but if booking independently we recommend choosing a downtown hotel or ensuring your own transport to the fields and social events (see bus timetables at Transportes Urbanos Logroño). Please note that only bookings made through the LOC grant access to tournament shuttle services.
Given the high tourist season in June, availability for large groups is limited. If you plan to arrive before June 20, we strongly encourage contacting us early at services@wjuc.sport so we can help you secure the best option
Please note that only teams booking their accommodation through the LOC will have access to the daily tournament shuttle service. Teams arranging accommodation on their own will need to use public transport or private solutions at their own expense. The city offers good bus connections, but we kindly remind you that official tournament transport is reserved exclusively for LOC-booked accommodation.
