- WJUC will be an eight (8) days tournament from Saturday 11th to Saturday 18th July, 2026 inclusive.
Day 1 (Sat 11th July) will include the Parade of Nations, Opening Ceremony, and an opening game – all teams should make plans to play a game (if required) on Day 1 (Sat 11th July). Day 8 (Sat 18th July) will be a short day with limited play for some teams only – schedule pending.
On-site registration will take place in the lead-up to the Tournament after teams arrive in Logroño, Spain.
The official athletes’ party will be on Friday 10th July, while medal ceremonies will take place immediately after each final. The closing ceremony will take place at the end of the last final of the WU24 tournament.
Coaches & Captains’ Meeting & the Spirit Captains’ Meetings will take place on Saturday 11th July, in the morning BEFORE the tournament starts.
Trading night be on Thursday 16th July, all the other activities dates and time will be published on this page.
TOURNAMENT PROGRAM:
- July 10 18:00 – 22:00: Welcome Party at Las Norias Swimming Pool. A meet-and-greet to enjoy, connect, and immerse in the event atmosphere.
- July 11 Morning: Captains’ Meeting and Spirit Captains’ Meeting, including a photo session with the mayor at the city hall. 13:00: Official city welcome. Invitation for Captains and Spirit Captains only. 14:00: Captain’s meeting and Spirit Captain’s meeting in CCR. 16:00: Gather at Plaza del Espolón to commence the parade. 16:45: Parade begins, leading to Las Gaunas Stadium. 18:00: Opening Game at Las Gaunas Stadium. 20:00 – 22:00: Music and fun (and dinner for the ones that have reserved it) in front of the stadium.
- July 12 –> June 16 09:00 – 21:00: Games throughout the day.
- July 16, 18:00 – 23:00: Trading Night at Ciudad Deportiva Pradoviejo.
- July 17, 09:00 – 21:00: Semifinals and placement matches. 22:00 – 03:00: Tournament Party.
- July 18, 15:00 – 21:00: Finals.
- July 19, Team departures.
